| 1965 FERRARI 330 GT - CHASSIS #7011. LEFT HAND DRIVE | |
|
Painted in Grigio Fumo with Red hide this beautifully restored example of a 330 GT is a Series 1 Interim car with a 5 speed gearbox, electric windows and hanging pedals. The car was sold new by Franco Britanic to Baron Jean-Edouard Empain who was infamously kidnapped in Paris in 1978 and whose forebears built the Paris metro system and the city of Heliopolis in Egypt. Totally restored under the instruction of Charles Pozzi in the early 1990's. Pozzi's workshop spent approximately £82,000 on the mechanical aspects alone. The interior was entrusted to Lupi who have trimmed the car in the softest Italian leather and the famous French firm of Le Coq have restored the coachwork to perfection. Since its restoration the car has covered 29,000 kilometres. The last owner purchased the car in 1995 and has maintained the car assiduously so that today I can offer what can only be described as an 'As New' 330 GT. Faultless in detail and condition. Without doubt the greatest 330GT in the world and most probably the best Ferrari I have ever offered for sale. |
